Disc 21. Cruise Ship Manufacturing

Everything in a universal community is durable because cheap goods would be a waste of human time, energy, and Earth’s resources. There would no longer be poor and disadvantaged humans to exploit to make such goods. Today’s profit driven built-in obsolescence, and cheap goods would be useless and counterproductive within an adult sustainable Community Cruise Ship.

The components of a self-sustaining universal community are the highest standard of durability and quality. A terrestrial Community Cruise Ship as with any large ship will need to operate safely through extreme weather events and be protected from them which would require high quality and durability. The best technology available would be in a Community Cruise Ship because it would no longer cost prohibitive.

Community Cruise Ships are linked to continental/regional supply hubs. There are many millions of components needed to construct and maintain a Community Cruise Ship. With 43 sectors in each community ship the manufacturing would be scaled for those sectors.

Humanity would only have to produce enough goods to keep the Community Cruise Ships in optimal operating condition and for global custodial responsibilities, and that is respectful of resources.

Other manufacturing would be innovations or for human exploration. Mass manufacturing with cheap labour would be unnecessary. The community would manufacture high quality, durable goods with minimal distribution.

Humans would have far more skills sets within an adult community system, individual creativity would be encouraged.

The Community Cruise Ships would produce goods that would be affordable for everyone. The goods and services a human would need would be available in cores and easily accessible.
Humanity's existing economy of childish profit would eventually wind down and conclude. The transition to an adult system would create many new work opportunities within humanity's existing manufacturing infrastructure.
