Disc 17. Cruise Ship Employment

Work would be equal, fun, rewarding and educational with far more family time. There would no longer be a work to survive dynamic or doing something repetitively you don’t enjoy. Parents would not need to be both in a work force to support a family, the parent not in the community work force would be paid the same amount, the same way.

Operating a Community Cruise Ship effectively takes skill sets in many different areas just like an actual cruise ship, therefore finding a good fit for an individual and changing jobs to advance skill sets would be encouraged.

There are no boring, exploitation and profit driven tasks on a Community Cruise Ship, all positions are considered skilled and essential. People will be able to try many different jobs within a field that they find interesting, no need to limit skill sets. As much as all facilities are free, to regulate the consumption of certain goods, work in community is paid.

There would be no inflation or stock markets, just community pay to regulate consumption and not to survive. Community Cruise Ships would be similar to a cruise ship employee receiving a payment to spend on certain goods and services within the cruise ship with no fluctuation on currency value or the price of goods and services.

No one will ever have to go and ask anyone for a pay rise just to keep up with the cost of living or have any money deducted from their pay for anything, there will not be any need. Pay continues throughout life, no pensions or retirement plans are necessary.

Free education and training for everyone in the Community Cruise Ship will change the employment dynamic as everyone will have an equal opportunity for any position within Community Cruise Ship.

The safe and efficient operation of a Community Cruise Ship relies on many skill sets, all are necessary for the community. No individual's work is more or less important to the effective and efficient running of a Community Cruise Ship. Significant disparity in pay therefore would be pointless. Adults in continued education would receive the same level of pay.

Pay is supplemented from a community fund for each child. A child supplement is sufficient to pay for all a child’s needs; there should never be any disparity between any child, in any Community Cruise Ship, anywhere globally.

This complete child supplemental is a community raising its children as a species together and an adult action. Only the existing pyramid system has rationalized that children are not the most important investment.

There would not be economic downturns as the daily operations of an actual cruise ship do not significantly fluctuate. No one on an efficient cruise ship would be working excessive hours. Community is about quality of life and family time.
