Disc 24. Cruise Ship Transportation Infrastructure

The Community Cruise Ship transportation in this example is orbital around sector cores with 6 segment divisions to link directly to the cores. All the community sectors are quickly linked to the primary core with an elevated rapid transit system.

Elevated minimises interference with wildlife in a global park and would give people a better view. Magnetically levitated bullet trains can reach speeds in excess of 370 miles per hour or 600 kilometres per hour.

Travel time to the primary cruise ship core from a satellite community is approximately thirty minutes in this community example as vast distances are covered very quickly. This time frame makes the primary cruise ship core and it's facilities easily accessible to anyone on the Community Cruise Ship.

Freight is primarily moved around the Community Cruise Ship by rapid transit dramatically reducing the need for heavy vehicle traffic within sectors. Sustainable and durable cruise ship sectors require far less freight movement to maintain themselves.

There are two rapid transit track systems in this community example, one services the satellite communities running in two directions and the other the secondary cores. The trains just continue on their loops night and day. Anyone within the community cruise ship will be able to get home at any time. All transportation is free; you would not charge crew to get around there own Community Cruise Ship.

Cores are also linked by elevated roads. Travel within the community ship example is designed to be fun and safe. The link roads are covered, high-speed, and an option instead of the train. Fast electric cars and motorcycles can be used safely and effectively within universal Cruise Ship infrastructure.

Air transportation between Community Cruise Ships would be free. Humanity should be able to connect to any family anywhere. Air travel for business, human migration would be dramatically reduced leaving tourism and visitation as the primary reasons for air travel.

Community Cruise Ship air travel would no longer be cost prohibitive for anyone or need to be economically viable in an adult Cruise Ship system. People will be able to see places on Earth that they want to visit. There would be no travel costs associated with excursions away from a Community Cruise Ship.

Community Cruise Ships improve the dynamics of air travel in many different ways including safety, accessibility, and efficiency. With profit, economic customs enforcement, immigration processing, restricted flight paths, seat classifications no longer in the equation, flying will be a far more enjoyable experience.

Everything in a Community Cruise ship is connected with no prohibitive costs for anyone in a time frame that makes a cruise Ship more enjoyable and facilities more accessible. Humanity already has many good and environmentally respectful and safe technologies to get around inside a Community Cruise Ship.

The Universal Community has very limited heavy vehicle traffic and almost zero noise or environmental pollution. In the community example air and electric powered vehicles are used within sectors as a primary form of transport. Individuals need to go to different parts of a Community Cruise Ship for many different reasons and require appropriate transportation.

Zero emission compact vehicles require far less space and would be available to every individual in the community over a certain age. They are lighter and safer when used within a suitable transport infrastructure and an effective way to get around a Community Cruise Ship.

This scale of compact vehicle can be driven onto a rapid transit train if people want to take vehicles further within a Community Cruise Ship. Their compact size allows them to board rapid transit from one side and depart from the other quickly and easily.

In this Community Cruise Ship example, public transport is also provided by street cars in designated lanes moving in two orbital directions on residential belts, connecting to the core via sector hubs. The transport sequence from doorstep is pedestrian, bike, street cars, and then powered vehicles.

Transportation serves an orbit around a core; there are not two sides of a street, just one orbit. There are no roads for any child, the elderly or people with disabilities to cross in order to board an orbital street car. The street car is always traveling its orbit to deliver passengers safely home any time, night or day.

The advantage of compact zero emission vehicles is their ability to also travel underground. The community example has compact vehicle tunnels under homes and green belts that link to the core.

There should never be vehicle congestion within a Community Cruise Ship or serious delays because of adverse weather. A hurricane or snow storm should not prevent people from traveling around a Community Cruise Ship anymore than they would on an actual cruise ship.

The transport required will not increase or decrease because Community Cruise Ship populations would not significantly fluctuate and appropriate sized transit infrastructure would already be a part of the Community Cruise ship design.

Environmentally friendly technology would work more efficiently and safely within the Community Cruise Ship infrastructure. The Community Cruise Ship transport infrastructure is not vast distances for rechargeable batteries. Electricity would be free and there would be charging stations where needed.

Service and repair of all Community Cruise Ship transportation would be free because safety is in everyone's best interest. Transportation should be fun and accessible to everyone of an appropriate age.

Within a Community Cruise Ship there is not necessarily less transport, just a lot less dangerous, disproportional, congested and environmentally damaging transportation.
